There are fights that take place inside a ring.
And there are also those that take place behind closed doors, amidst fear, silence and a woman’s need to feel safe.
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Christina Linardatou participated in the awareness video “Am I Safe?”, in collaboration with the Strong Me Movement — a movement dedicated to preventing and combating gender-based violence and abuse against women.
Violence is not always visible.
It does not always leave marks on the body.
It can be psychological, verbal, financial or emotional. It can start through fear, control, belittling and isolation. And many women live daily within this silent pressure without being able to easily speak up.
“Am I Safe?” was created to remind us of something very simple but very important:
No woman should live in fear.
Through social actions, information campaigns and artistic projects, Strong Me tries to open a conversation that for years remained hidden behind silences, guilt and social stereotypes.
For Christina Linardatou, the concept of warrior is not limited to sports.
“Beyond the Ring” was created precisely to give space to the stories of people who fight every day — mentally, emotionally and socially — even when no one sees their battle.
Her participation in this project was a reminder that true strength is not just about enduring.
It is about finding your voice.
Asking for help when you need it.
Breaking the silence.
And remembering that you deserve safety, dignity and respect.
Because behind many “strong” women, there are stories that the world never knows.
And because no battle should be fought alone.

“Am I Safe?”
Because sometimes, the most important question isn’t who won.
But whether someone truly feels safe.
