The choice of Medusa by Christina Linardatou was not made by chance.
For her, Medusa symbolizes all those “monsters” of the soul that hide deep in the subconscious and that most people are afraid to face.
The fears.
The trauma.
The anger.
The rejection.
The dark sides of the self that are often hidden behind the image we show to the outside.
In mythology, anyone who looked Medusa in the face was turned to stone. For Christina Linardatou, this symbolizes exactly the fear that paralyzes a person when he is confronted with his true self and what he tries to hide inside.
Medusa, therefore, does not simply represent a mythological creature. It expresses the moment when one faces the most difficult sides of one’s soul — and either remains frozen in fear or chooses to face them and transform.
Christina Linardatou connected with this symbol because she saw in Medusa not fear, but the power that is born through the conflict with the inner world.
Medusa Entertainment was born out of this philosophy.
Medusa became the central symbol and logo of the company, expressing the idea of the modern fighter — not only in the ring, but also in everyday life.
Because, behind every real fighter, there is always a battle that no one sees.
